Group visits

Bolton Abbey is the perfect place for a group visit whether you wish to stop all day or just spend a couple of hours.

With easy access the Cavendish Pavilion or Bolton Abbey Tea Cottage are the ideal venues for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. Afterwards enjoy a little retail therapy and a stroll along the riverside.

Priory Church Guided Tour

Pre-booked guided tours of the Priory Church and Ruins are available for interested parties and school groups. The tour last approximately one hour. For further information please telephone the Church Office, telephone 01756 710238 or email.

Access for Coaches

There is ample parking for coaches in the Bolton Abbey car park. The car park is approximately 400m from the Priory Church and ruins.

North of Bolton Abbey village on the B6160 is an archway, which, measures 10'6" high and 9'5" wide. Some large vehicles cannot drive under it. Visitors wishing to go to the Cavendish Pavilion and or Strid Wood with a coach are advised to take the alternative route via Embsay, Eastby and over the moor to Barden.

Group Admission

50p per person for groups of 12 or more travelling in one vehicle.
