Baking Workshops

Children's Cookery Workshops

Thursday 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th August

Join us at the Cavendish Pavilion at Bolton Abbey to make your very own pizza using local produce. Workshops run at 11:00, 11:45, 12:30, 13:45, 14:30, 15:15 and last 45 minutes.

£3.50 per child. Normal admission applies. Please book to avoid disappointment.

Guided Family Walk

Thursday 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th August

A unique experience to discover what it was like to be a Priory Canon. Meet outside the Village Shop at 11:30am or 1:30pm for a guided walk down to the Priory Ruins. Bring a picnic to enjoy by the river or stroll down to the Cavendish Pavilion for a bite to eat. Proceeds go to Macmillan Cancer Support.

£2.00 per child. Adults free. Normal admission applies.

Kite Workshops

Friday 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th August

Create your own kite at Bolton Abbey and then have great fun flying it!

The activity is held outside the Cavendish Pavilion from 11am - 3pm, drop in anytime!

£2.00 per kite. Normal admission applies.

Storytelling in Strid Wood

Friday 13th, 20th and 27th August

Join Rhoda the story teller and discover the secrets of Strid Wood as she leads you on a magical journey. Tours start at 11:30am and 1:30pm. Meet outside the Cavendish Shop.

£2.00 per child. Adults free. Normal admission applies.

Duck Race

Keighley Sea Cadets Duck Race

Sunday 15th August

Don't miss this mid-summer afternoon of fun! Come and enjoy the Bouncy Castle Slide, Coconut Shy, Hook a Duck and Test Your Strength. The main attraction of the day is the famous Duck Race which will start at 2pm.

Activities and stalls are available from 10am.

Normal admission applies.

Walk Ten: Marie Curie Cancer Care

Sunday 29th August

Join hundreds of people for a 10K walk on the Estate. The walk begins outside the Cavendish Pavilion at 5.30pm and finishes with a celebration at 10pm, to mark the time at which Marie Curie Nursing shifts begin all over the country.
